The School of Modern Languages provides opportunities to pursue a PhD or MPhil in Translation Studies. With a strong history of supporting postgraduate scholars, the School ensures each student receives personalized supervision (with one or two advisors) based on their research focus. Students enjoy comprehensive access to computing resources (including translation memory tools), library services, and all School facilities such as the film collection. A designated postgraduate workspace is available within the School for regular use.
Program Length - PhD: 3-4 years full-time, 6 years part-time; MPhil: 2 years full-time, 3 years part-time.
