The School's research spans the entire range of biological sciences. During the initial half-year of your PhD or MPhil program, you'll focus on refining your research proposal and completing an extensive literature review that will form part of your final dissertation. You'll present your proposal to fellow students and faculty members, with their feedback helping enhance your final research project. Additionally, you should participate in training opportunities offered by both the College of Natural Sciences Graduate School and the University Doctoral School, which develop both discipline-specific and general postgraduate skills.
