Are you curious about how governments and societies function, and how political systems operate? Do you want to explore the dynamic relationships between individuals, institutions, and ideologies? Our program combines expert teaching and research to examine critical themes including power dynamics, governance structures, sovereignty, conflict resolution, social order, mediation processes, civic responsibilities, justice systems, accountability mechanisms, political legitimacy, security frameworks, and decision-making processes.
Our Politics (with Foundation Year) program is a four-year course featuring an integrated foundation year that results in the same qualification as our standard three-year honors degree. This pathway is specifically designed for students seeking higher education who may not meet conventional entry requirements or possess traditional academic qualifications.
The Foundation Year (Year 0) provides an opportunity to develop and enhance your academic confidence, skills, and knowledge base - ensuring you're fully prepared to advance to Year 1 of the undergraduate degree program.
