This program enables you to explore historical periods alongside the literary works they inspired. Bangor's curriculum covers both subjects from the early Middle Ages to modern times, incorporating diverse historical perspectives (political, cultural, social) and various English literary genres (including Welsh literature in English, dystopian fiction, and children's literature). Third-year students can undertake a major dissertation that bridges both disciplines.
