Commercial Dance
After completing the New Zealand Diploma in Dance, graduates may progress to the third year of the Bachelor of Creativity (Performing Arts) to develop specialized work in their chosen field.
Drama
Upon finishing the New Zealand Diploma in Drama, students can advance to year three of the Bachelor of Creativity (Performing Arts) to produce discipline-specific creative work.
Māori and Pacific Dance
The initial two years focus on building proficiency in Māori, Samoan, Cook Islands, and contemporary New Zealand dance performance, emphasizing technique, stagecraft, and choreography. In the third year, students expand on this foundation to craft and present original performance pieces.
To enrol in this programme you must have completed the level 5 and 6 Diploma in Creativity level 6 Diploma in Dance, Drama or Musical Theatre or have evidence of prior learning.
English Language Requirements: Proven equivalence to domestic entry requirements and IELTS 6.0 (no band lower than 5.5)
