Enrolled in our Bachelor of Midwifery, you'll develop expertise in both practical skills and theoretical knowledge. Your education will combine classroom instruction, laboratory sessions, hands-on clinical training with midwives and expectant parents, and collaborative simulations at our Wellington Regional Hospital Campus. The four-year program is designed to help you manage personal commitments, employment, and academic responsibilities. You'll be taught by dedicated midwifery professionals and benefit from Victoria University of Wellington's strengths in scientific, psychological, and educational disciplines.

Qualification Requirements
Achieve the International Baccalaureate Diploma, or three GCE Advanced Level passes at C grade, or equivalent.
Useful secondary school subjects- Biology (required), Chemistry/Physics (required), English-rich subjects such as English, History, Art History, Classics, Geography, Economics, or Media Studies.
Successful completion of your general secondary education and successful completion of one year of undergraduate degree study at a recognised tertiary institution (min. GPA may be required)
Successful completion of the Victoria University of Wellington Foundation Studies Programme OR other recognised foundation programme
Achievement of the International Baccalaureate Diploma (min. 24 points) OR equivalent internationally recognised high school qualification
