This discipline emerged to address the evolving demands of New Zealand's construction sector. Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington now stands as a global pioneer in building science education, offering the nation's premier BBSc degree focused on building technology.
Students share foundational courses with Architecture majors in their first year before choosing between Project Management or Sustainable Engineering Systems specializations in subsequent years. An optional double major in both specializations is available.
