The Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science (PGDipMLSc) welcomes highly qualified BMLSc graduates and other medical laboratory professionals with demonstrated research potential. This program equips students for dedicated research and thesis development toward a Master of Medical Laboratory Science (MMLSc), combining coursework with foundational research. Students may pursue either the Diploma or Master's degree on a part-time or full-time basis. Specific prerequisites apply, and applicants are encouraged to discuss their plans early with potential supervisors and the BMLSc Course Director.

Admission to the programme shall be subject to the approval of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Health Sciences).
Every applicant shall normally have attained the degree of Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science with credit or distinction, or have a qualification acceptable to the Board of Studies in Medical Laboratory Science.
IELTS (Academic) - Overall score of 6.5, no individual band below 6.0.
TOEFL iBT - Overall score of 90 and a writing score of 21.
