As the predominant faith across numerous Asian nations, Buddhism has significantly influenced the region's historical and cultural development. The Buddhist Studies minor offers foundational knowledge starting with its Indian roots (RELS 102) before exploring its expansion throughout Asia. Students can optionally pair their Buddhist studies with learning scriptural languages like Sanskrit, Chinese, or Japanese. This program is available not just as a minor, but also as a DipGrad endorsement and as part of the MA(Coursework) degree options.
