As the predominant faith across numerous Asian nations, Buddhism has significantly influenced the region's historical and cultural development. The Buddhist Studies minor offers foundational knowledge about Buddhism's roots in India (RELS 102), with opportunities to explore its expansion throughout Asia. Students can enhance their understanding by pairing Buddhist studies with language courses in scriptural languages like Sanskrit, Chinese, or Japanese. This program is available not just as a minor, but also as a DipGrad endorsement and as an MA(Coursework) specialization option.
