Designed for existing healthcare practitioners and graduates with related bachelor's degrees seeking advanced education in health disciplines. This Health Science Postgraduate Diploma explores diverse topics across the health sciences field. Opt for either a general curriculum or focus on a specific specialization. Requires one year of full-time commitment or flexible part-time study spanning up to four years. Select from our comprehensive health sciences diploma or various specialized tracks available. The Youth Health specialization within the Postgraduate Diploma in Health Sciences (PGDipHSc) prepares graduates for leadership positions in youth healthcare, including policy development, clinical services, and program management roles.
You must have completed an undergraduate degree at a recognised university (or similar institution) in a health-related discipline such as health sciences, medicine, nursing, optometry, pharmacy, psychology, or social work. You will need a Grade Point Average (GPA) or Grade Point Equivalent (GPE) of at least 2.5.
You must be a health professional currently working in these service areas.
IELTS (Academic): Overall score of 6.5 and no bands less than 6.0; Internet-based TOEFL (iBT): Overall score of 90 and written score of 21; Paper-based TOEFL: Overall score of 68 and a writing score of 21; Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) or Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE): Overall score of 176 and no bands below 169; Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: Overall score of 58 and no PTE Communicative score below 50; Foundation Certificate in English for Academic Purposes (FCertEAP): Grade of B-; Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB): 85.
