Opting for a double major provides concentrated expertise while allowing initial exploration across disciplines before specialization. The BA cultivates transferable skills highly sought by employers: articulate communication; analytical and imaginative thinking; research proficiency; information assessment; solution-oriented approaches; adaptability; and cultural awareness. These timeless competencies will prepare you for diverse career paths in a dynamic employment landscape.
The BA (Hons) represents a one-year full-time (or two-year part-time) postgraduate qualification, distinct from your initial BA degree. This program combines structured coursework with guided research, delivered through evening sessions and intensive on-campus modules at our Epsom location, with some options available digitally or at alternative campuses. Successful completion of the BA (Hons) can serve as a pathway to our one-year Master's program or, for qualifying students, provide direct access to doctoral studies.
