Art History investigates the multifaceted significance of visual arts across cultures and historical periods – encompassing aesthetic, social, religious, political, and commercial dimensions. The curriculum extends beyond traditional mediums like painting and sculpture to include architecture, photography, digital media, performance art, and design. Our visually rich lectures present captivating, thought-provoking, and occasionally challenging imagery. Students examine renowned creators such as Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Frida Kahlo, Marina Abramovic, Olafur Eliasson, Lisa Reihana, Simon Denny, among other influential figures.

Qualification Requirements

Entry is by invitation for high-achieving Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Laws (BA/LLB) Part II students. To be considered for the Honours programme in Law, you must achieve a B+ average or higher across all your law courses at the completion of LLB Part II during your BA/LLB. (This is usually at the end of your third year.). IELTS (Academic) - Overall score of 6.0 and no bands below 5.5 Internet-based TOEFL (iBT) - Overall score of 80 and a written score of 21 Paper-based TOEFL (pBT) - Overall score of 60 and a writing score of 21
