By pursuing a BABHSc conjoint degree, you can earn both a BA and BHSc faster than completing them individually. This combined program explores the biological, social, and behavioral dimensions of communities. It emphasizes health determinants, promotion strategies, disease prevention, healthcare systems, and policy development. Discover how to implement fundamental health promotion and prevention concepts to address community health challenges – while selecting from diverse humanities, social sciences, cultural studies, and language courses. The BABHSc offers comprehensive non-clinical training that equips graduates for various health sector roles, including health education, community health initiatives, counseling services, and healthcare system planning. Please note: The University of Auckland does not participate in graduate recruitment and cannot ensure professional registration or job placement in New Zealand or elsewhere.

Art History investigates the diverse functions of visual arts across cultures and historical eras – from aesthetic to social, religious, political, and commercial contexts. The curriculum encompasses not just traditional mediums like painting and sculpture, but also architecture, photography, video works, performance art, design, and decorative arts. Our visually engaging lectures feature an array of captivating, thought-provoking, and occasionally contentious imagery. As an Art History student, you'll examine renowned creators such as Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Frida Kahlo, Marina Abramovic, Olafur Eliasson, Lisa Reihana, Simon Denny, among others. The program covers Renaissance and Baroque eras, Māori and Pacific art traditions, museum studies, contemporary art theory, cross-cultural expressions, and digital media art forms.
