This program offers profound insights into both yourself and the world through Arts and Fine Arts coursework. As a creative thinker and maker, you'll explore cultural, social, environmental, ethical, and political themes while developing impactful ways to communicate them. The Bachelor of Arts provides diverse subject options, allowing you to specialize in areas of society, culture, and human behavior that fascinate you. Within the Fine Arts curriculum, you'll engage with modern art while selecting from various mediums like ceramics, photography, digital media, performance art, and beyond. This dual degree expands your cultural awareness while sharpening analytical and communication abilities. By merging these disciplines, you'll maximize your potential and broaden professional opportunities.
Your coursework includes Academic English Studies (ACADENG) at Stage II, tailored for non-native English speakers. If your proficiency requires development, Stage I ACADENG serves as prerequisite preparation. This academic English training integrates linguistic analysis (phonetics, morphology, syntax, semantics) with language acquisition theories. You may pursue Academic English Studies and Linguistics as a double major within your BA, requiring completion of 120 points (eight courses) per major, including 45 points (three courses) at Stage III.
