The Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences provides outstanding opportunities for graduate students passionate about disciplines including history, sociology, political science, legal studies, music, and various languages (English, Irish, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, and TESOL). The Faculty boasts specialized research expertise in key fields such as Criminal Justice, Applied Linguistics, European Studies, Irish-German Relations, Conflict Resolution and Development, International Business Law, Global Politics, Welfare Policy, Gender Research, Utopian Thought, and Literary or Cultural Analysis.
