The MA in Public History and Cultural Heritage is available as a one-year full-time or two-year part-time postgraduate program (online/blended). Instruction incorporates contemporary educational approaches such as dialogic learning, active inquiry, community engagement, creative problem-solving, media proficiency, reflective practice, and independent study. The online/blended format accommodates learners unable to attend in-person, especially international students keen on exploring Irish public history and cultural heritage while benefiting from an Irish university education, as well as professionals in the field. Some global participants opt for temporary residence in Ireland for research or placements (though optional), during which they may study on-site and receive support securing local work experience if desired.
