Population health studies aim to enhance community well-being by examining how social, environmental, work-related, and economic elements impact health. This research ultimately works to decrease the need for emergency medical treatments or long-term care for persistent illnesses. A more recent concept, population health research encompasses yet differs from conventional public health approaches, wellness initiatives, and social epidemiology. Essentially, it's a discipline that evaluates health results, trends in health influencers, and the policy measures connecting these factors.
