The Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Behavior Analysis is a rigorous four-year full-time doctoral program, with a part-time option spanning six years. This degree equips graduates with advanced research capabilities and practical expertise in behavioral analysis applications. The curriculum integrates doctoral thesis work with the academic coursework and supervised practicum components of the Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis program. Candidates receive guidance in developing research that makes meaningful advancements in behavioral analysis, conducting studies that deepen our scientific comprehension of human behavior's complexities. The program actively supports students in presenting their work at academic conferences and publishing in internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals.
Applications are invited from candidates who hold an upper Second Class Honours (Grade 1) standard or higher in their primary degree (or equivalent). Evidence of motivation and proposed research will be taken into account in offering places on the programme.
English Language Requirements
IELTS: 6.5 overall, no less than 5.5 in any one component; Cambridge C1 Advanced (CAE): 176 overall; Cambridge C2 Advanced (CPE): 180 overall; TOEFL: 88 overall (7 Listening, 16 Speaking, 18 Writing, 8 Reading); Pearson PTE: 61 overall, no less than 48 in any one component.
