The Centre for Disability Law & Policy focuses on global and comparative disability legislation and public policy. It concentrates on the United Nations' and European Union's disability initiatives, along with those of the Council of Europe. Key areas of focus include development assistance for disabilities, digital accessibility, independent living and deinstitutionalization, anti-discrimination laws related to disabilities, and reforms in Irish disability legislation.
Founded in 1849, the University of Galway's School of Law provides cutting-edge legal education through a vibrant institution committed to influential, high-caliber legal scholarship.
