This program is designed to equip graduates from molecular life sciences backgrounds with genomics expertise for medical applications. As DNA sequencing technologies progress, genomics is playing an increasingly vital role in medicine. Today, genomic sequencing enables diagnosis of rare genetic disorders, while tumor sequencing helps refine cancer treatment options. Students will develop essential genomics analysis skills and hands-on experience working with biological samples and data.

The Biomedical Genomics MSc delivers the necessary skillset for genomics analysis and research across multiple sectors. Applicants must have achieved a First or strong Second Class Honours degree in a cognate discipline. Qualifying degrees include, but are not limited to: biochemistry, genetics, biomedical science, and biotechnology.

IELTS: 6.5 overall, no less than 5.5 in any one component; Cambridge C1 Advanced (CAE): 176 overall; Cambridge C2 Advanced (CPE): 180 overall; TOEFL: 88 overall (7 Listening, 16 Speaking, 18 Writing, 8 Reading); Pearson PTE: 61 overall, no less than 48 in any one component.
