BComm (International) graduates from the J.E. Cairnes School of Business & Economics excel across various business sectors. Career paths include roles in EU organizations like the European Central Bank, diplomatic services, and the European Parliament, as well as accounting, management consultancy, taxation, commercial advisory, economic policy, marketing, HR, information systems, finance (banking & insurance).
Spanish degree holders frequently enter teaching or fields like journalism, broadcasting, media, arts administration, interpretation, translation, multilingual office roles, tourism, and diplomacy. Professionals with strong language skills are highly sought after by local and international enterprises.
Minimum Grade H5 in two subjects and passes in four other subjects at O6/H7 level in the Leaving Certificate, including Irish, English, another language, Mathematics, and any two other subjects recognised for entry purposes.

IELTS: 6.5 overall, no less than 5.5 in any one component; Cambridge C1 Advanced (CAE): 176 overall; Cambridge C2 Advanced (CPE): 180 overall; TOEFL: 88 overall (7 Listening, 16 Speaking, 18 Writing, 8 Reading); Pearson PTE: 61 overall, no less than 48 in any one component.
