This program equips graduates for careers in environmental conservation and resource management. Participants will develop in-depth theoretical and practical expertise in environmental engineering, covering subjects like hydrological engineering, ecological modeling, water purification systems, waste disposal solutions, and environmental statistics.
Environmental engineering applies technical and scientific methods to address ecological challenges. The curriculum develops skills in designing water treatment plants, managing water resources, creating flood prevention structures, interpreting environmental metrics, and planning eco-friendly infrastructure. An honours undergraduate degree NFQ level 8 with minimum 2-1 award or international equivalence in civil engineering other related engineering such as chemical engineering environmental engineering agriculturial engineering physical science or environmental related degree programme
