This bachelor's program is designed for students wishing to specialize in two or more modern foreign languages, examine their interrelationships, complete a year of international study, and earn a BA International qualification.

Advanced study options include French, German, Italian, Portuguese, or Spanish (post-secondary level), while Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, and German are available for beginners. Students must pursue at least one language at an advanced level. Cross-disciplinary modules at each stage facilitate comparative analysis of different languages and cultures.

Leaving Cert Subject Entry Requirements:
O6 or H7 in English, Irish, a third language and three other recognised subjects.

Special Entry Recommendation: If you choose to study a language at advanced level during your first year, it is recommended that you have at least a H4 grade in that language at Leaving Certificate, or equivalent.

International A Level - At least three subjects at A Level Grade C or better and Grade C or better in the remaining subjects at GCSE a total of six distinct subjects required.
If you are -
presenting the Irish school leaving certificate you are required to have attained a H7 or O6 in English.
presenting other examinations through English you are required to have the opens in a new window specified equivalent.
IELTS - An average score of 6.5 over all components and a minimum of 6.0 in each band.
TOEFL IBT - iBT 90 no less than 21 in writing and at least 19 in every other section in the Test of English as a Foreign Language TOEFL.
