As one of Europe's most commonly spoken native languages, German holds significant economic importance with Germany's dominant position. Learning German opens doors to diverse cultural and professional possibilities. Our program goes beyond language instruction, incorporating the arts and traditions of German-speaking nations to provide graduates with essential intercultural awareness and versatile competencies.
We actively promote participation in our Erasmus exchange program at Austrian or German partner universities during the degree. This overseas year represents a transformative opportunity to refine linguistic abilities while expanding worldviews. Successful completion of this international experience earns BA Arts students the distinguished BA Arts International designation. Availability may be restricted, with priority given to high-achieving candidates. For those interested in multiple languages with integrated study abroad, the BA Modern Languages program offers an alternative pathway.
