This intensive one-year conversion program is designed for students seeking to enhance their statistical expertise while gaining comprehensive, practical knowledge of sustainability from multiple viewpoints.
As a premier offering under Trinity's E3 Engineering, Environment and Emerging Technology initiative, this program aligns with E3's vision of building a more sustainable global future. It features adaptable learning approaches across modules to accommodate students with varied academic backgrounds.
Participants will acquire extensive modeling, computational, and statistical capabilities while exploring crucial sustainability themes essential for addressing environmental issues at all scales. The curriculum incorporates collaborative and individual projects to strengthen communication abilities, with particular focus on teaching students how to effectively present statistical findings to diverse audiences in various settings.
Applicants must have first class or upper second-class honours undergraduate degree that includes at least one year of university-level mathematics (including linear algebra and calculus topics).
