This one-year Master's program in Immunotherapeutics offers an innovative, multidisciplinary approach, delivered by top immunology academics alongside industry experts from biopharmaceutical companies.
Participants will explore the immune system's role in cancer, autoimmune disorders, infections, and neurodegenerative conditions, while discovering how groundbreaking immunotherapies are transforming treatment for severe and chronic illnesses. The curriculum covers emerging technologies including DNA/RNA vaccines, antibody treatments, stem cell and CAR T-cell therapies, plus immune checkpoint inhibitors.
The program also develops essential skills in business strategy, innovation, entrepreneurship, and professional communication, with hands-on bioprocessing training at NIBRT's cutting-edge National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training facility.
A highlight of the course is the mandatory six-month industry placement, completed by each student under the guidance of both academic and industry mentors.
Applicants will normally be required to hold at least upper second-class Honours degree (2.1) or higher in Medicine, Veterinary Science, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Immunology, Biochemistry or a related subject.
