Literature studies encompass far more than a single focus. Today's literary landscape is vibrant, multifaceted, intricate, and abundant. Trinity's M.Phil. in Modern and Contemporary Literary Studies emerges from and celebrates this diversity. Our School of English boasts globally recognized expertise across Anglophone literature worldwide, spanning both classic and contemporary genres, as well as physical literary artifacts and the history of books.
This program enables English graduates and those from related fields (including History, Art History, and Modern Languages) to examine over 200 years of English-language writing and literary development. Students engage with pivotal works, influential writers, and significant concepts from the 1800s through to present times.
