The M.Phil. in Gender and Women's Studies offers an analytical examination of contemporary research regarding gender's role and portrayal in social structures. Integrating knowledge from various Humanities and Social Sciences domains, this interdisciplinary program equips students with cross-disciplinary research skills. Participants gain profound insight into the cultural frameworks shaping gender theory development, expression, and discourse, along with proficiency in utilizing both primary sources and critical academic literature.
Applicants should normally have at least an upper second class (2.1) honors Bachelor degree or equivalent (for example, GPA of 3.3) in a relevant area. Since places on the course are limited, applicants may be interviewed or asked to submit a writing sample for assessment.
