Our research spans diverse outputs and themes. Faculty members pursue practice-based investigations, producing theatrical productions, musical works, and documentary films that examine theoretical concepts through creative expression. Simultaneously, we maintain strong dedication to traditional scholarly publications. We champion research-informed education and student development. The School's research initiatives focus on three principal aims: Irish Arts, Global Arts, and Digital Arts. As part of Trinity Long Room Hub, the university's Arts and Humanities Institute, we actively contribute to its research priorities, especially Irish Cultural Studies, Evolving Identities, and Artistic Practice. The School offers three MPhil degree programs and fosters a vibrant postgraduate research community. During academic terms, we organize weekly Creative Arts seminars where faculty and graduate students can present their projects and receive constructive feedback in a supportive environment. Additionally, we welcome guest speakers at these and other public engagements.
