Approximately 100 million Europeans speak German. Pursuing advanced German studies opens doors to countless opportunities. You'll not only enhance your career prospects in Ireland, across the EU, and beyond, but also gain a fresh perspective on the world.
While English gave us Shakespeare, German brought us Freud and Marx along with groundbreaking modern ideas. The German-speaking world has gifted humanity with exceptionally brilliant thinkers, artists, and innovators. It also witnessed Europe's darkest period - followed by deep introspection about those tragic events. This rich history makes German both an intriguing language to master and a compelling academic discipline.
