This program is designed to help students earn a highly practical level 9 qualification in quantity surveying. It offers advancement opportunities for level 8 graduates and other learners with diverse academic backgrounds, professional memberships, and hands-on experience in the built environment sector.
TUS's postgraduate Quantity Surveying programs are unique as the only offerings of their kind outside Dublin. These courses serve as gateways into the Quantity Surveying profession and hold full accreditation from both the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
The MSc in Quantity Surveying meets all educational prerequisites for enrolling in the SCSI APC (to qualify as a chartered quantity surveyor) within just one year.
A primary degree in a built environment programme with a minimum award of Second Class Honour Grade 2. or
An appropriate professional built environment qualification (ie. Chartered membership of the SCS, EI, CIOB etc.) and at least 2 years relevant professional experience/responsibility. or
A primary degree and at least 5 years relevant professional responsibility and experience. or
Special Case Registrations: Prospective participants who do not meet the entry requirements for the programme detailed above, but who may qualify for admission by meeting certain other equivalent criteria, should apply to the Lifelong Learning Office for consideration.
