The Master of Science in Sustainable Food Safety Management is an intensive, knowledge-rich program delivering a detailed examination of both national and European Union food safety regulations designed to protect consumer health. This multidisciplinary curriculum goes beyond foundational food safety principles to evaluate emerging trends and obstacles in food governance and ecological sustainability. Available in full-time (TU236) and flexible part-time (TU236P) formats, the course caters to current and future food industry specialists. Program alumni have attained influential regulatory positions as Environmental Health Practitioners, Veterinary Specialists, and Public Sector Laboratory Experts across national and EU institutions. Within corporate environments, graduates hold pivotal technical leadership roles throughout Ireland's premier food enterprises - spanning production, processing, foodservice, and retail sectors.
An honours bachelor degree (2.2 grade or higher) or equivalent in a discipline relevant to Food Safety Management. It is expected that participants will have significant work experience and fit the profile of a manager or technical professional.
