Biomedical Science focuses on studying medical conditions, their origins, detection methods, and therapies. Molecular diagnostics involves creating and applying advanced technologies for quicker, customized diagnoses, frequently employing DNA-based techniques.
This program stands out by combining diagnostic and analytical sciences with bioproduct innovation. Students also gain essential skills in areas like introductory programming and bioinformatics.
The first year establishes foundational scientific knowledge while introducing Biomedical Science and Molecular Diagnostics concepts. During the second year, students delve deeper into Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology, alongside specialized Biomedical Science courses, plus Bioinformatics and Biostatistics components.
