This three-year full-time program prepares students for careers in biopharmaceutical, biomedical, environmental, or food-related sectors. Additional qualifications may lead to opportunities as scientific researchers or secondary school science educators. The Molecular Biology and Biopharmaceutical Science curriculum explores biological systems from microscopic to multicellular levels. Students learn to utilize living organisms (primarily microbes and various cell types) for pharmaceutical production and other applications. The program develops professionals skilled in managing biotechnological processes. Over three years, students master essential techniques including molecular biology methods, analytical testing, and microbiological analysis - critical competencies for biopharmaceutical, environmental, and food industry careers.
You should be at least 17 years of age in January of the year of entry.
You must have a Secondary/High School Diploma, with good grades in English and Mathematics and at least 4 other subjects, on average + 60%.
