The BSc (Hons) in Physics for Modern Technology is a four-year full-time honors degree available through the SE501 - Bachelor of Science (Hons) Common Entry Pathway. This multidisciplinary program equips students with knowledge of the physical principles behind contemporary technologies like semiconductor devices, photonic systems, renewable energy solutions, and sensor technologies. The curriculum blends rigorous training in physics, engineering, mathematics, and computer programming to develop highly marketable competencies. Participants gain industry-relevant transferable skills through an extensive nine-month professional placement. Recent host organizations have featured leading companies such as Analog Devices, Bausch & Lomb, Teva Pharmaceuticals, and research institutions including the European Space Agency. Additionally, students have opportunities for international study at SETU's partner universities across Europe, North America, and Canada.
You should be at least 17 years of age in January of the year of entry.
You must have a Secondary/High School Diploma, with good grades in English and Mathematics and at least 4 other subjects, on average + 60%.
