General nurses collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to enhance and preserve the health of individuals, families, and communities. They provide structured care for those facing health challenges, helping them achieve their fullest quality of life. Nursing presents an outstanding opportunity for students pursuing healthcare professions. Given the complexity of human beings, nursing roles rank among the most demanding yet fulfilling careers available. Upon graduation, your credentials will open doors to global opportunities. The General Nursing Program is conducted in a modern, specially designed facility, with students gaining hands-on experience across multiple hospitals in the southeastern region. Instruction spans four years using our KSVSE framework (Knowledge, Science, Values and Attitudes, Skills, and Experience). Full completion of the program qualifies graduates for registration as General Nurses with An Bord Altranais.
