The MSc in Fintech program is crafted to equip students with vital financial technology competencies, spanning both business and technical subjects.
Participants will gain expertise in (i) the technical aspects of fintech fields, including traditional, cutting-edge, and innovative financial approaches and analytical techniques, along with their theoretical frameworks and mathematical principles, and (ii) a thorough comprehension of how fintech solutions influence, are designed for, applied to, and implemented in business environments.
NCI's ideal position in the International Financial Services Centre enables it to offer a practical, industry-driven curriculum. The program is taught entirely by academic experts and seasoned fintech professionals.
Duration - 1 year
A level 8 degree (2.2 award) or its equivalent in one or more of the following domains: computing science, finance, business or economics. Cognate disciplines will also be considered. Note that applicants lacking both a clear financial and technology component may still be eligible, but will be subject to review.
The college operates a Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning (RPEL) scheme - meaning applicants who do not meet the normal academic entry requirements, may be considered based on relevant work or other experience. Non-English speaking applicants must demonstrate fluency in the English language as demonstrated by an IELTS academic score of at least 6.5 or equivalent.
