The Postgraduate Diploma in Business with a focus on Finance and Business Analytics is a one-year program designed to help participants:
Acquire quantitative, analytical, and digital competencies for performing financial and data analysis.
Effectively present and explain analytical findings.
Cultivate a questioning mindset when assessing analyses, whether conducted personally or by peers.
Advance professionally in their current roles or transition into careers as financial or data analysts.
This program combines theoretical business analysis concepts with hands-on experience using real-world data in the state-of-the-art Finance Lab.
Instruction occurs through intensive on-campus sessions, requiring three days of in-person attendance supplemented by independent study. The curriculum blends traditional lectures with practical IT lab sessions, emphasizing skills development in PL-SQL, Real Stats, Eikon, Stocktrak, and Qlikviews. Participants will join a vibrant community of graduate business students, with potential course overlap across related graduate programs.

Qualification Requirements
The current minimum entry requirements for students to be accepted on the Postgraduate Diploma in Business in Finance and Business Analytics are as follows
Applicants must hold at least a Level 8 qualification in business/finance/economics/IT. Students holding a non-business/IT honours degree of the type listed above are eligible to apply. However, this does not guarantee entry to the programme, applicants may be considered for interview/advising and short listing. Candidates that can display strong numeracy skills will be considered more favourably.
All students whose first language is not English must be able to provide evidence that their spoken and written level of English is adequate for the programme for which they have applied. The relevant certified documentation to support this shall be provided as part of the application process. An approved English language qualification or test result (see below for list of approved qualifications and test results). The qualification or test result shall have been awarded no more than two years prior to the proposed date of enrolment. Substantial education (minimum one academic year) or work experience (minimum eighteen months) conducted through English and undertaken no more than two years prior to the proposed date of enrolment. Satisfactory completion of an interview process for entry onto the programme.
