NCI's BA (Honours) in Marketing Practice is a career-focused degree that immerses students in essential marketing areas including brand development, consumer insights, digital strategies, and business creation.
The program culminates in an intensive final-year project where student teams create comprehensive business proposals, requiring them to source products and craft complete marketing, branding, and communication strategies to prepare their concepts for real-world implementation.
This program equips graduates with a thorough understanding of contemporary marketing practices across Irish and global markets, the ability to assess marketing challenges in competitive environments and devise actionable solutions, and strong employment prospects in fields like marketing, business development, digital media, and promotional campaigns.
Exceptional students (maintaining 60% or higher) may qualify for a valuable, credit-earning professional placement between their second and third years, adding an additional year to the program duration.
Duration: 3 years (4 years with optional placement)
Minimum entry requirements are a grade H5 and above in two higher level subjects together with a minimum of O6/H7 in four other subjects. A minimum of grade O6/H7 must be obtained in English. A grade O6/H7 must be obtained in Mathematics.
IELTS: 6.0; TOEFL Internet Based: 78; TOEFL Computer: 213; PTE Academic: 50; Cambridge European Framework: B2+; Cambridge Exams: FCE; Irish Leaving Certificate: Ordinary Grade D.
