In MT 775 Applied Biosciences, the first two years follow a shared curriculum. Students will select their specialization (either Food and Health Science or Applied Biosciences and Biotechnology) at the start of year 3.
Core competencies include environmental science, analytical methods, quality control, and bioprocessing, which receive focused study. Hands-on lab work constitutes a significant portion of the program. A primary objective is cultivating advanced laboratory expertise and applying these skills in industrial biology settings. Selected students may participate in EU-sponsored exchange programs with European institutions and companies.
The BSc in Applied Biosciences and Biotechnology addresses workforce needs in biotechnology, food, and pharmaceutical sectors for skilled technologists and analysts. Graduates also fulfill staffing requirements for service and research laboratories requiring biological analysis expertise.
The BSc in Food and Health Science responds to evolving industry demands in food, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology for qualified technicians and analysts.
