CORU defines Social Care Work as a relationship-focused practice centered on intentionally designing and delivering care, safeguarding, psychosocial assistance, and advocacy in collaboration with marginalized individuals and communities facing disadvantages or specific requirements. The vital role of Social Care Work in Irish society's fabric is immeasurable. This field confronts systemic inequities and pioneers innovative solutions to cultivate a more just and welcoming community that honors every individual's worth.
Our program adopts an interdisciplinary perspective on social care, integrating insights from psychology, sociology, policy studies, and artistic disciplines to develop optimal approaches for addressing the needs of all participants within social care environments.

Leaving Certificate in five subjects i.e. O6/H7 in five subjects. The five subjects must include Mathematics and either English or Irish grade O6/H7.
