Popular Music refers to the constantly playing soundtrack of our lives, heard on radio stations, television programs, and performance spaces nationwide. This broad category includes various styles like rock, country, soul, blues, pop, contemporary musical theater, electronic beats, and dance music. The curriculum provides five specialization options: Electric Bass Guitar, Drums, Electric Guitar, Keyboards, or Vocal Performance.
BAPM students will also create and refine their own live performance and recording projects. Like BMus students, they'll explore potential career paths in community music and music therapy. The program additionally offers specialized courses in arts marketing, professional branding, and business skills tailored for performing artists and career advancement.
