The Bachelor of Arts in Communications is a three-year, full-time degree program designed to provide students with foundational knowledge across various media platforms such as photography, radio, journalism, and television. Combining hands-on experience with theoretical study, the program offers six semesters of immersive learning, including opportunities to engage in authentic journalistic environments. Students will hone their abilities in writing, radio production, videography, and photography while delving into different journalism styles like reporting, feature articles, and investigative pieces. Practical experience comes through contributing to the campus newspaper, magazine, and radio station, along with creating and editing video projects. The curriculum covers core journalism techniques, media evolution, and societal frameworks. Participants will author, refine, and layout their own print materials while compiling a professional portfolio for career advancement.
