The Schulich School of Business collaborates with the Graduate Programme in Visual Arts to provide an innovative three-year dual degree program, awarding both a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Fine Arts. This distinctive MFAMBA program creates exceptional learning possibilities. Participants who complete this rigorous curriculum will pursue professions requiring expertise in both artistic disciplines and business management. The MFAMBA curricula synergize effectively, providing outstanding training for individuals aspiring to leadership roles within arts and cultural organizations. Program Duration Students typically enroll in 15.0 credit-hours per semester. Those undertaking the dual degree can expect to finish all requirements within three years. Participants will fulfill all core components of both programs simultaneously, with elective requirements potentially satisfied through cross-program coursework. Optional Arts and Media Graduate Diploma Candidates may enhance their MFAMBA qualifications by adding an Arts and Media Graduate Diploma. Detailed diploma specifications appear in both the Schulich School of Business and Faculty of Graduate Studies academic calendars. For students pursuing the diploma alongside both degrees, the summer following their third academic year presents an ideal opportunity to complete internship obligations, though some may arrange earlier placements. Funding Opportunities First-year MBA candidates may qualify for various scholarships and bursaries. Dual degree students meeting eligibility standards can access this financial assistance for at least one academic year. The Arts and Media Administration Program additionally provides internship funding, especially for nonprofit sector placements, contingent upon meeting Ontario Student Awards Programme criteria. During subsequent years, students may secure research or teaching assistantship positions.
