The Developmental Science program educates students in theoretical frameworks and investigative approaches concerning human growth throughout all life stages. Participants develop comprehensive expertise in developmental psychology while focusing intensively on specific domains. These specialized fields encompass cognitive processes (including attention, memory, reasoning, and executive functions), early childhood social cognition, neuropsychological approaches (utilizing techniques like fMRI, ERP, or clinical case studies), educational implementations, infant memory and visual perception development, as well as comparative and evolutionary developmental psychology. Their scholarly work investigates developmental phenomena from early childhood through senescence, studying both typical and atypical groups (including primate species).
