The program provides instruction in social psychological principles, study design and methods, statistical analysis, program assessment, plus numerous chances for independent research. A distinctive feature is the focus on gaining hands-on research experience via practicum and internship positions. Faculty specialties include: immigration and cultural adaptation psychology, body perception, diversity studies, LGBTQ+ topics, bias, reproductive and mental health, human sexuality, social stereotypes, cultural influences, language, and personal identity.
