Canada's first and longest-standing graduate music therapy program, our Master of Music Therapy (MMT) focuses on integrating music psychotherapy, clinical musicianship, and therapeutic methods through hands-on practice, theoretical study, and clinical experience.
This full-time program spans two years, with an accelerated one-year pathway available for Bachelor of Music Therapy degree holders.
Grounded in music psychotherapy principles, our MMT fosters a dynamic learning space where students enhance their clinical musicianship and therapeutic skills while cultivating professional self-awareness through reflective practice. The program emphasizes both evidence-based and practice-oriented research methodologies.
The curriculum provides advanced clinical training and exposure to modern therapeutic approaches, equipping students to expand their music therapy expertise, techniques, and professional competencies.
