The History Doctoral Program at Western University prepares a carefully chosen group of graduate students to become professional historians—expert researchers, educators, and academics. MA degree in History from an accredited university 80 percent average or better on all graduate courses Evidence of strong research potential Applicants must possess a four-year degree from a university college or institute The School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies requires at least a 70 percent average across courses taken in the last two fulltime years of the undergraduate degree Equivalent qualifications may be considered based on the standards of the discipline or profession.
