The Biomedical Engineering PhD program provides focused study options in Biomaterials, Biomechanics, Mechatronics, and Imaging.
This interdisciplinary initiative fosters collaboration between clinical researchers and scientists across complementary fields including imaging, biomaterials, biomechanics, and mechatronics. The program strengthens academic partnerships among Western's Engineering, Medicine & Dentistry, and Health Sciences faculties, along with Robarts Research Institute, London Health Research Institute, and affiliated teaching hospitals.
